Georgia O’Keeffe Tours
Georgia O'Keeffe (1887-1986) was an American artist whose extensive portfolio of work included countless paintings inspired by the landscape of northern New Mexico. In 1949, O'Keeffe moved from New York City to Abiquiu, New Mexico, and lived in a 5,000-square-foot home dating from the Spanish Colonial era.
Her paintings, many of which depict enlarged images of flowers, made O’Keeffe a key figure in American art, and made Abiquiu a source of inspiration for other artists.
Tours are conducted by appointment only on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from Mid-March through November with additional tours on Wednesdays and Saturdays from June to October. All Georgia O'Keeffe tours last approximately one hour and are limited to a maximum of 12 people. An exterior tour may be arranged for larger groups.
Tours start from the Georgia O'Keeffe Home and Studio Tour Office next to The Abiquiu Inn. Guests will be taken by shuttle to the O'Keeffe Home and Studio.
