Espanola (22 miles from Abiquiu)
Located north of Santa Fe on the banks of the Rio Grande, Espanola offers outdoor recreation such as hiking, horseback riding, biking, whitewater rafting and kayaking. The area’s Pueblo Indian culture is reflected in many historic sites, including the Bandelier National Monument and Puye Cliff Dwellings. Espanola is also the closest business center to The Abiquiu Inn.
