Georgia O'Keeffe Home & Studio TourVisit Georgia O’Keeffe’s iconic Home and Studio! Located in the village of Abiquiu, the home is open to the public for tours seasonally with advance reservations. The 2023 tour season begins March 7.

Ghost Ranch - The 21,000 acre retreat center offers amazing hiking trails along with two museums featuring a fascinating dinosaur quarry.  The landscape made famous by  Georgia O'Keeffe can be explored by horseback trail ride, motor coach or as a walking tour. Daily history tours available at 11:00 a.m.

 Poshuouinge Ruins - A steep, scenic, half-mile trail, two vista areas and interpretive signs overlooks the Chama River Valley. The principal ruins included a large pueblo with over 700 ground-floor rooms surrounding two large plazas and a large kiva.

Dar Al Islam - A non-profit organization dedicated to cultivating greater understanding of Islam among Americans in order to establish our commonalities and build stronger relationships.  Plaza Blanca is located on the grounds of Dar Al Islam, an area painted and photographed by countless artists including Georgia O'Keeffe.  

Christ in the Desert Monastery - Built in 1964 by Benedictine Monks. Daily religious services.

Echo Amphitheater - Hiking and picnic area among natural rock formations. 

Abiquiu Lake - Boating, camping, fishing, picnicking, swimming and water skiing.

Puye Cliff  Dwellings -12th century Pueblo ruins. Santa Clara Pueblo.

Santuario de Chimayo - Famous Spanish Colonial Church.  

San Ildefonso Pueblo - Once home to Maria Martinez, the world-famous potter.

Jemez Pueblo - Ancient ruins, nearby hot springs, beautiful Jemez mountain setting.

Old Spanish Trail - Abiquiu Inn is located just a few yards from the site.

Bandelier National Monument - 12th century Anasazi cliff dwellings.
